How we met - Part 1

They said the beginning of a relationship is the sweetest moment of all. I couldn't agree more with it. When a guy start to court, he'll be extremely gentleman, romantic and a mister yes-dear-to-all (if there's such a word) that a girl will dream of marrying. After securing the girl under his wing, he'll tend to have slightly more temper, a lil bit more ........wooohoo! wait a minute, I was to blog about how me n hubs start, not this. Pardon me for that.

Let me recall. I was attending a internship program for 3 months in a MNC when I met him there. First day start of with me being the only newbie, totally stranger to the whole environment. There I met a bunch of colleagues who were kind enough to invite me to lunch with them in cafeteria. Lucky for me, there was another girl who was doing internship too but she came in earlier than me. We make friend quickly but I can't say that we were that friendly to each other yet. Never mind her. Apart from the intern, there was a girl and another 3 guys there. What can I say about them? The girl was a blur one while the guys, a tall one, a slightly on the plump side one and and average one. Guess which is my hubs. No, I'm not telling you now. You'll have to continue to find out.

Somehow, before I even step my foot into the MNC building, they were well informed of the details in my CV. Gosh! How can HR disclose such a private information to all? It really makes me wonder. So they know I'm a one of the Director in my dance club in University. But what they didn't know was it was due to the amount of committed people in the club and how our students tend to shy away from post in whatever club or society. I have to say I wasn't so proud of that title but I just love to dance. Dance for fun, dance for fitness and even dance to release stress. If you have not been dancing or is doubtful whether you should take up dancing, I'll probably tell you to give it a try. It's so much fun that I promise you won't skip the lessons even if you are force too. There is an equation I learn from a Dr.
Sweat + Happy = Dance
I just couldn't stay focus. There's to many side story coming up but back to this story. Hubs was a dancer himself. Not only that, he did have his own dance studio he shared with his friends ( that was 2years ago). An instructor and a choreographer. Interesting!! I was so excited bout it cause I never dream of meeting someone who has this passion even after working. So there he was, along with his clan teased me bout my title. Imagine being a newbie and got teased....I don't know where to hide my head. But then he suggested a good thing to me. A Japanese instructor is giving a performance in another studio and he asked if I was interested. Well, of course I jumped at the opportunity. What else do I have to wait? The worst part, I have to ask permission from my "guardian" at that time. *faint* Anyway, I got my way and there I was in the studio watching "performance" which happen to be a trial class. Did he know the difference??? I guess not.. But then who cares? I got to see the other side of him that day. He was not in his usual t-shirt n jean with the comb-down hair. He look so nerd with that hair cut but his excuse, " People will think of him as a good employee, not the yea! looking guy". For that outing, he wore a torn at knee jeans, a sleeves shirt and a cap. Totally awesome. Too bad, he still didn't get my attention, all was on the japanese instructor. The dance steps are cooler than him ;p

That was the first unaware "date". No dinner, no drink, NOTHING....just enjoying the idea of having the same interest. But that night, his interest was on me while mine, on the dance step...hehe...I'm just as innocent as can be.

I found this website TheStory , a romantic story of how they get together. I love the part he proposed to her. Spare a lil time and read bout them. Have fun!

22/05/2007: Here's another one I found quite interesting. The guy really put a lot of effort in this proposal. But on the other hand, this is one
not to follow
