When we reached our room, we was up for a surprise. The hotel has sent us a plate of strawberry coated with chocolate. Yummy. I bet this was to welcome us for honeymoon stay.

After cleaning up back at hotel, we headed towards Orchard Rd. On our way to the MRT station, we will passby three statues. I find them so unique and make it a point to have photo taken with them whenever we go out. Presenting to you.....Samsui women.

This two cute dolls sponsored by Hitachi was quite an eye catching. I did have the urge to take photo with them too but am shy seeing only childrens fighting to take photo with them.

The moment I saw this poster, I immediately took photo of it. Now only I know the trend is to match the color of your brow with your hair...Tsk tsk..

I totally don't know that we need to donate a small amount in order to take photo with these deco. I straight away snapped and got told off by the security guard. As all the money was hold by Hubs and he was away asking for direction, I had to thicken my face, smile and said sorry.

Everywhere we go, there will be carolers singing beautiful christmas songs. I feel so much in Christmas mood. Last time when I was still in KL, the deco was nice too but not much Christmas feel. No wonder people always recommend Spore when it's Christmas mood you want.

I end my post with a picture of Hippo tour. We missed that cause the free ride was fully booked by the time we went there.
By the time we wanted to go back, it's already 12am. Boy, my feet hurts so much cause I'm wearing high heels the whole day. Well, I wanted to look beautiful....lol

A date with Hubs

Hubs just asked me to make myself free this weekend. He's dating me. The details will be kept a secret and he definitely loves to see how I beg him to let the cat out. Oh, this is exciting but at the same time, the suspense is killing me. Previously, I told him to check with our hotel coordinator for the bridal suite which we have yet to used. I'm wondering if there's where we will go but he also just told me it was unavailable this weekend. Hmm....is he lying or has he plan something else on his mind? Will it be a romatic gateaway?

Btw, we are starting to try conceiving. Hope this will be a good start. Wish us luck!

While I was sleeping-2nd night

Last night Hubs went out with his friends....again. His former classmates had a gathering at a pub near Feringghi. One of the attendee being his best friend. So there goes the grandmother stories again. Their conversation did not end when the group disperse. Both of this guy adjourned to a mamak stall. I woke up around 4+am only to find his side of bed was empty as before I went to bed. A look at the phone clock gave me a shock of my life. The first thought that come to my mind was, "Is Hubs drunk till he can't come home?", and "Did something went wrong when he was on his way back?". Only after he answered the phone telling me he was already downstairs parking his car did manage to calm me down. And I continued to sleep.

This morning, we woke up around 7am to go for prayers. So doing the calculation, Hubs only has 2 hours of sleep. It was also a day our godson came and to officially thru the ceremony. It was also the day where his best friend came for visiting. And after all that, we got to visit my sis in the confinement center. She was sleepless last night, worrying about her baby being taken care by strangers and hearing cries thru the night. I think she might have post natal depression. All this end up we reach home again at quarter to 6pm. Hubs must be very tired. As I am writing this, he's snoring away on the bed...again. Exactly the same as last night. Dejavu??

I'm going to be mommy

Well, not really a real mom. It's more to a godmommy. We had decided to make Ben, Hub's cousin's son to be our godson. He is a piggie, just like me. We are very compatible, and so is Hubs who is a goat. Tomorrow, the ceremony will take place in my now house. So excited! Can't wait for him to come...I wonder how long do I have to wait till he can call me godmommy.

A lil something on what happen this few days

First day

- he was put under observation in separate room on the first day

Second day

-still in separate room till later of the day. transfer out to the same nursery with other newborns. saw him for the first time. he kept twitching his nose and mouth, once in awhile trying to open his lil eyes

Third day

-was infected with jaundice and put under the blue light. Saw him from afar, he was moving his tiny hands and legs

Fourth day

-discharge and now in confinement center with mommy, perfectly healthy

Although he was premature for one month, he was still on par with the other newborns. He weights at 2.45kg and height at 46cm. Quite a big guy for his condition. Well done, boy!

While I was sleeping

Yesterday was 2nd day of CNY. It was also the 2nd time Hubs has a blast of his time at the mini casino table. The first time was with my extended family. Being the first day of CNY, I had prepared him to wear red shirt. Coincidently, his box of new underwear came in red color too. So that particular day, he went out with bloddy red shirt + underwear. At the mini casino table, he won a 260% return. On the 2nd day, he made appointment with his best friend to open another mini casino again. As it was quite late, I didn't follow him out. But I prepared the red underwear again. He came back at 4.30am, when I was deep in my dreamland. This morning, he proudly told me he made another 100+. His balasan? He can't open his eyes even at 11am. And now, he's sleeping like a baby while the crackers was blasting outside. Sigh....Another round of late night later on.

My baby nephew has arrived

That lil cutey is suppose to due on March but he just feel so excited over Chinese New Year, he can't wait to get out. My sis water bag leaked on Monday, just almost office hour. She was rushed to hospital and being admitted for a night for observation. They was still suspecting only that time. Doctor confirmed and she was to deliver the next day, which is Tuesday. Sis wanted a mickey mouse but turned out to be piggy, 2 rounds younger than this piggy (me!). She actually told the doctor to wait but doc's advise is to get him out as the water will be gone soon. After that, it will be infection and the baby might not survive. She was put on medication for the 'hole' to open up but sadly, after two doses and numerous unbearable pain, it won't bulge a bit. Mom and Dad waited till 3am this morn but when home empty hope.

Doc came this morning at around 9am, sent her straight into labor and c-sec her. Poor thing. Pain all night but still have to be cut. Anyway, I'm going to meet my lil nephew for the first time later. Oh, my heart is full of joy. He will be our first grandson to my family, and a first great grandson to my only grandpa.

Happy Happy Chinese New Year

It's the 28th day and only three more days to go. Tomorrow I'll be taking leave and resume on Wednesday only to be on leave again on Thursday and Friday. Why so odd? Well, my in laws is having reunion on the 29th, instead of 30th. This is so that my SIL will be able to join. What's the meaning if she and her hubby are missing right? I don't mind, even a tiny it. She's been so great and loving to me, I love her to bits too. Apart from that, I could go on with my yearly tradition; i.e. to go back to grandpa's place for a bigger reunion steamboat dinner. The thought of that already make my saliva drool. Yummy.
