There's a Chinese tradition whereby for 3 days and 3 nights before the wedding, the lamps have to be lighted. Not so sure about the meaning though. Probably something related to fertility, the ever famous custom. So off I went to buy them. Saw this cute lil pair in one of the shops. It's quite small so they won't take up lotsa space and most importantly they doesn't cost a bomb to my already damage pocket.
Ain't they cute? Definitely suitable for my small wedding room.
They uses oil for prayers. So it might run out in less than 3 days. Anyway, the aunty told me to just put them as a symbol only and on the normal fluorescent light. Good idea!
