I didn't go but I watched it live on TV, Channel 311 (Wah Lai Toi) of course. Only a handful of the artists came that night. Among the artists that I can recognise by names are handsome gorgeous Bosco, Lam Fong, Kok CHun Onn and the pretty stunning ladies, Lai Chi, Seh, Sonija and Tong Ying Ying.
Astro did a good job in letting the fans participated in the prize giving. However , at the same time letting go of the grandness. The whole show was a let down. Even the MC, Ah Lek and Chui Ling did not do their best. Their speech don't even sync. Here he was, trying to make jokes but there she was cutting it cold and announcing the next awards. We at home we like, " What is wrong with these two? They are pro but totally no mak-kai (sync)."
The opening where they invited all the beauty pagents, champions of competitions, MyFM DJs and the HK artists totally does not serve the purpose. The whole group was scattered and they look lost on stage. I would prefer that they who make the appearance on the stage; i.e beauty pagents, MyFM DJS were the one who give out the awards. At least the contestant don't look like an idiot when the award winners just take the trophy and completely ignore them (trust me, they did it that night).
